Why VRF?
We needed the generation to be decentralised & fair, the backbone of our ethos. Having a centralised method could potentially introduce a single point of failure or possible manipulation. With VRF no one is able to predict or manipulate the lottery ensuring that each person who enters has a fair chance & is not cheated.
Chainlink allows users to see & verify that the smart contracts were executed with on chain randomness which is why we decided to use this method, to ensure the lottery is run fair & is secure from manipulation each lottery cycle.
